Our mission: to offer you seeds that grow, reproduce, and make your garden more vibrant year after year!

❝ Our job as an artisanal seed grower is to offer you organic and reproducible seeds while respecting nature. Growing with us means choosing biodiversity and autonomy. ❞

TRADITIONAL KNOW-HOW

At the Farm, we take care of everything!
Seed maintenance, production, propagation, sorting, germination, conservation, bagging, and distribution—we manage every step to master everything from A to Z. Today, we're proud to have over 1,000 organic seed varieties in our catalog, nearly two-thirds of which are produced in-house. More diversity, more choice, for ever-more vibrant gardens!

OUR SEED PRODUCTION STAGES

WE MEASURE THE PERFORMANCE OF OUR SEEDS

We carry out germination tests, conducted by an independent laboratory after the sorting stage: LABOSEM , located a few kilometers from the Farm. The seeds must have a specific purity (without waste, plant debris, weed seeds or other species) and a sufficient varietal rate (the rates depend on the species, generally from 95% to 98%). This is guaranteed by the isolation of the crops, conservative selection in the field and sorting of the harvested seeds.

The germination test must be supplemented by analyzing the specific purity of the harvested batch and checking the varietal purity in the field from which the seeds were extracted. Germination quality is then checked regularly throughout the process, from storage to marketing of the batch.

REPRODUCIBLE SEEDS: GROW, HARVEST AND REPLANT...

A "population variety," sometimes called a "peasant seed" or "royalty-free" variety, offers genetic diversity despite apparent similarity: not all individuals are identical, but they remain faithful to the specific characteristics of the variety. This diversity can allow for better adaptability to the environment or the needs of the grower.

The population variety has the advantage of being reproducible as is : the seeds can be harvested and re-sown the following year, the offspring will be similar to the parents. Conversely, if we sow the seeds harvested from hybrid varieties (F1), themselves resulting from the crossing of two pure lines, we obtain heterogeneous offspring and often different from the first generation. The beneficial effect of crossing which adds the qualities of the two parents is therefore only present in the first generation with a population of identical individuals, but no longer at all in the following generations. The grower must therefore buy new seeds each year and is therefore dependent on the market.

Reproducing seeds is a priceless freedom because it allows for the maintenance of diversity. This is why we produce varieties that are reproducible identically and therefore royalty-free.

ZOOM ON OUR SEED BAGS

In 2025, our bags are getting a makeover with a touch of authenticity and nature , for a reflection faithful to our values: an old typography, a photo with a retro filter, a paper texture and a unique varietal illustration.
All our bags have a *Best Before Date but this date, which is not mandatory, is in no way a DLC (Use By Date), as in food. Indeed, after this date the seeds retain their germination power . It allows us to monitor quality, committing us to recheck the germinations regularly and to withdraw them from sale if the latter is below the required standard. If the date affixed to your bag of seeds is exceeded, don't worry, you can sow them, we assure you of good harvests.
