The Peruvian gooseberry produces tasty fruits with a gooseberry taste.

These fruits can be eaten plain, in jam, or in a fruit salad.

The Peruvian gooseberry is sometimes known as " Inca plum " or " Cape gooseberry ." The Peruvian gooseberry is part of the physalis genus, which also includes tomatillos .

Sowing

Sowing: March/April in a pot. Transplant into a warm bed 1 month after sowing. Plant in the second half of May in a warm location, 50 cm apart in all directions . Pinch the stem 15 days after planting. Stake and remove suckers. Water thoroughly in summer.

Impeccable

Bonne germination, semis à l'abri sur tapis chauffant (température 20/23°c) en février. Attention par contre ne vous découragez pas car c'est très très long ! Au début j'ai cru que mes semis avaient ratés, mais au bout d'environ 2 semaines et demi ça a commencé à germer...
Aujourd'hui les plants se sont hyper bien développés et d'ici Mai ils seront prêts à être plantés en extérieur. Toujours très contente de la qualité des graines de Sainte Marthe !
