Very pretty perennial ground cover plant with evergreen foliage, 15 to 30 cm high, with a spreading habit, producing pretty white flowers. Iberis candytuft will be ideal for illuminating slopes, borders or to brighten up the front of a flowerbed. Successfully sowing Iberis candytuft Sow from February to April at 20°C in a heated mini greenhouse in a fine seed compost. Keep the compost moist but not soggy until emergence. Ventilate the greenhouse regularly to avoid mold. It is also possible to sow directly in the ground when the temperature reaches 20°C. Prepare the soil and remove all stones and weeds. Add seed compost if necessary. Cultivation Keep 30 cm between plants. This plant will appreciate a sunny or partial shade exposure and ordinary, fresh and well-drained soil. It will tolerate drought well but will need to be watered regularly at the beginning of cultivation. Small size after flowering. Flowering Flowers appear from April to June.
