Description
Colorful assortment of young shoots: green kale, red-stemmed beetroot, green spinach, red orach and colorful leeks.
Sow and harvest as needed, several cuttings are possible. Blend with apples, pears, kiwis, bananas, or other fruits to make delicious smoothies.
Successful Sowing of Young Shoots
Sow in April-August in a fine seed compost. Cover the seeds with a few millimeters of compost and keep moist until they germinate.
Duration of Cultivation and Harvest
Growing time : in spring, 6 to 8 weeks; in summer, 4 weeks.
Harvest : gradually when the shoots reach a maximum height of 15 cm.
Tip : Water well after each harvest to ensure good regrowth. The young shoots are quite fragile, so harvest them just before use.
