Golden Frills mustard is a variety with very finely cut and curly light green foliage, with a pungent, aromatic flavor with a hint of bitterness. Good resistance to bolting.

Golden Frills mustard is used as a condiment to enhance a mixture of young shoots in salads or stir-fried vegetables in a wok.

In China, a wide variety of mustard species are grown, including leaf, root, and stem mustards. In France, leaf mustards are generally found, eaten as young shoots, mixed in salads. The leaves are broad, curly, lobed, and serrated, and are blond-green or purplish-reddish green in color, depending on the variety. Chinese mustards thrive in a cool climate and are grown in spring or fall.
