The blue Spanish nigella is an easy-to-grow annual plant, offering small, star-shaped flowers of an intense blue. Remarkable in borders, its tall flowering stems offer original and highly decorative star-shaped capsules, superb in fresh or dried bouquets. Height: 60 cm.
Sow in place by broadcasting in rockeries or sunny beds in fine, pebble-free soil. Sow on the surface and cover with a few mm of compost. Firm down and water. Keep moist until emergence.
Flowers appear from June to September.
