PHEROMONE AGAINST WALNUT WORM
This small fly (Rhagoletis completa) attacks different species of walnut trees. Laying and development period The female lays between 300 and 400 eggs, which she deposits under the surface of the husk, at a rate of about fifteen eggs per fruit. Use Pheromones are volatile substances secreted by females. They play a role in sexual attraction on males. Each species emits a specific pheromone. This makes it possible to trap each type of harmful insect very precisely and very effectively. Pheromones are tools for detecting and controlling populations with a high trapping capacity. Used with the mixed trap Place one capsule per trap Lasts for 4 to 6 weeks Place 1 to 2 traps per tree Trapping period: June to September
