Description
Known for stimulating the appetite, purifying the blood, and draining the liver, grow your own dandelions, which will keep them free from pollution and retain all their beneficial properties.
Eat it raw in salads or cooked like spinach. The flowers decorate dishes, and the flower buds are used in omelets like asparagus tips. To preserve all its properties, do not blanch it.
Dandelion also has diuretic properties, on the digestive system, against rheumatism, and a purifying action.
Sowing: in place from March to; end of June in rows 20 to; 30 cm apart, in; sunny exposure. Thin out to; 10/12 cm on the row. Watering.
Harvest: the leaves can be harvested before flowering and the roots in September from the second year onwards.
