Description
Annual, also called Inca Trumpet, with a supple habit and trumpet-shaped flowers in warm colors ranging from orange-yellow to purple and violet, blooming from June to September. The velvety petals are often flamed or striped. Good cut flower. Height: 60 to 80 cm. Suitable for growing in beds or pots. Flower habit and shape reminiscent of petunias. Enjoys sunny and warm exposure. Adapts to all types of soil but prefers a rather rich and light soil.
Sow under cover (18°) in pots in March-April or directly in place in May-June, 30 cm apart. Sowing on the surface. Does not tolerate transplanting well, so direct sowing is preferable.
Flowers appear from June to September.
