Agrimonia eupatoria
Agrimony eupatorium is a herbaceous plant of the Rosaceae family that can reach 40 to 50 cm in height, known for its medicinal qualities. Widely used in Greece, this plant was traditionally used to treat vision problems and in the form of an infusion to reduce digestive problems, it is also anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic. Also known for its yellow flowers and for its stems with dyeing properties which, although reddish, give a quality yellow dye. Sowing: No special needs, however, a cold exposure of the seeds for 2 to 4 weeks accelerates germination. Exposure: sunny. Watering: infrequent. Sowing: The seeds germinate quickly. Under cover between March and April, and directly in the ground from August to September. Harvest: the flowers can be picked during the summer, from June to September. They can grow up to 50 cm.
