Description
An annual condiment , green anise can reach 50-60 cm in height.
Green anise is grown for its seeds , which are used in pastries , bread , sauces , and as an accompaniment to grilled fish . Its leaves , harvested young, can flavor summer salads .

Harvest the seeds before they are fully ripe.
