Annual mugwort ( Artemisia annua ) is a medicinal plant native to China , which can grow up to 3 m and has a powerful odor . It has digestive properties .

Annual mugwort or Artemisia has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries.

Mugwort can also be used to make insect repellent decoctions .

Very aesthetic in the garden, it can form annual hedges or borders .

Successful sowing of annual mugwort

Sow in trays under a bright, sheltered canopy in spring or autumn. Do not cover the seeds, which need light to germinate.
Keep the seed moist using a spray bottle .
At the 5-6 leaf stage, transplant the young plants into pots.
Germination can take several weeks.

Planting annual mugwort

Plant in light , well -drained soil. Keep 60 cm to 1 m between mugwort plants.
