STICK STRIP
Sticky strip usable in organic farming based on wax and polybutene to preventatively fight and effectively protect trees against aphids, ants, caterpillars, earwigs and other crawling insects that constantly come and go on the trunk. All these insects have a detrimental effect on the good health of the trees and the quality of the fruit. How to use the sticky strip? Measure the length of the strip required according to the diameter of the trunk, allow approximately 5 to 10 cm extra for the overlap (closing the sticky strip). Cut the strip and open it gently to obtain the sticky surface. Fix the strip around the trunk, approximately 80 cm from the ground, with the glue side on the outside. Make sure the overlapping parts adhere well, the strip must be perfectly flat on the trunk. For very cracked bark, it is necessary to flatten it to prevent insects from passing under the strip. Regularly remove stuck leaves that could serve as a passage for insects. Use from March to November.
