Brodiaea Corrina, also known as Triteleia, is native to America. This species produces pretty umbels of star-shaped flowers in a deep purple color. A bee-producing plant, it thrives in sunny rockeries, borders, and wall bases. It is also suitable for growing in pots.

It will tolerate sandy to fairly clayey soils, even a little heavy, and is hardy down to -12°C, or even beyond. Plant 8-6 cm deep in a sunny or partially shaded location such as under deciduous trees or shrubs.

Bloom

The leaves appear in early spring and then the delicate flowers follow in May.
