Description
Dwarf annual plant with a velvety black mahogany color. Trailing stems, ideal for pots and hanging baskets. Leaves and flowers are edible and can therefore enhance summer salads. Companion plant that attracts aphids. Height: 35 cm. Sowing dwarf nasturtium 'black velvet' Sow in March-April 3 to 5 seeds per pot under warm cover at a depth of 2 cm. Plant in May. Otherwise sow from April to June (risk of frost removed) in open ground in pockets of 4-5 seeds with spacing of 30 cm. Flowering Flowering takes place from May to October.
