Description

The 'Blackdown' blackcurrant is characterised by its black, shiny and tasty berries, with an intense and slightly tart flavour. This compact bush, reaching about 1.2 to 1.5 m in height, is perfect for small spaces. The fruits, rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, are excellent for jams and juices. What makes it unique is its exceptional resistance to diseases, surpassing many other varieties.
Suitable for various types of soil, it prefers full sun or partial shade. Rustic and easy to maintain, it is ideal for gardens and balconies.
