An Italian variety, this chicory forms a rose-like head with large cream-colored leaves speckled with red. Its delicate flavor, both slightly bitter and sweet, adds a touch of originality to your dishes.
Sowing and Harvesting
Sowing: in place from the end of June to August, in rows 40 cm apart. Thin out to 20 cm.
Harvest: like chicory, cut in the fall, or after the first frosts, taking care to harvest moderately sized heads.
