Description

Cornet d'Anjou chicory is a cold-hardy, upright-headed variety. Its leaves are green, and in the center of the head, they naturally curl to turn white.

Use

It is eaten raw in salad or cooked in gratin, in jus, or with béchamel sauce.

Sowing

Sow from June to July in a nursery. Transplant 30 cm apart in the row, in a sunny position.

Harvest

Harvest approximately 3 months after sowing. Water regularly. They can be grown earlier in the season, but they bolt very quickly.
