Description
The red head cabbage with black head 3, also called "Cabeza negra," is a productive and early variety with red leaves and a tight, compact head. This cabbage is rich in vitamin C and minerals.
It can be eaten raw in salads or cooked, cut into thin strips, in stews, stuffed, braised, in a potée, mashed, in a pie or in soup. Freezing is also possible.
Sowing
Sow from February to March under cover or in open ground after the last frosts. Keep the soil moist during germination.
Harvest
Harvest from June to October.
