Granat Green Chinese Cabbage is a variety of green Chinese cabbage with tender, crisp oval leaves. It's a delicious autumn vegetable to eat raw when young, or cooked when mature, steamed, stir-fried, or baked.
Young shoots can be harvested after only 21 days, while mature leaves are harvested after 45-50 days.
Successful Sowing of Granat Green Pe-Tsai Cabbage
Sow thinly in place, from mid-July to mid-August, in rows spaced 40 cm apart, in a sunny, sheltered location.
Thin out to 30 cm in the row.
Water and fertilize well. Avoid water stress.
Harvest
Harvest 1 to 3 months after sowing.
