Westland Semi-Dwarf Kale is an ornamental variety that does not form a head. Its leaves are tender and very fragrant, with a characteristic kale flavor: slightly sweet, reminiscent of hazelnut.

Sowing

Sowing: from April to June.

Plant out in a sunny location, in loose, fresh and deep soil, when the plants have 4 to 5 leaves, 50-60 cm apart in all directions.

Sowing in Nurseries

Sowing: from March to June in nurseries.

Transplant in fertile, deep, fresh and humus-rich soil, in a sunny location, when the plant has 4 leaves, 70-80 cm apart in all directions.
