Discover these purple and green kale cabbages, with their highly curly leaves, which develop their full, distinctive flavor and increase their vitamin C content after exposure to frost. The leaves can be harvested at the young shoot stage and then throughout the season, as needed. Summer sowing will allow harvests throughout fall and winter.
Height: approximately 80-90 cm at the end of the season.
Composition: 50% Roter Grunkohl*, 50% Westland Half-Dwarf*.
*Seeds from organic farming certified by FR BIO 01.

Sowing

Sow at a depth of 0.5 cm from March to mid-July in a nursery, at a depth of 1 cm.

Do not compact the soil.

Temperature between 7°C and 20°C for approximately 10 days.

Transplant in place at the 4-leaf stage, 80 cm apart in all directions, in fresh, humus-rich soil, in a sunny location.

Mulch and water at the base.
