Description

Azur Star kohlrabi is a very early variety, suitable for all seasons. It produces a tender, slightly oval, dark blue ball that keeps well.

The fleshy, soft, and tender balls are eaten when they reach the size of a hen's egg. Their fine, excellent-quality flesh gives off a light, nutty aroma.
It can be used for soups, stews, fries or raw, grated in vinaigrette.

Sowing

Sow thinly in nurseries from March to June. Transplant in rows 40 cm apart, spaced 30 cm apart in the row, in a sunny location.

Harvest

Harvest from June to September.
