Sowing: under cover in March/April, transplant the plants 5/10 cm into a pot and plant after the frosts or sow in place in May, thin out when the plants reach 10cm to 30cm. 2.5 to 3 months between sowing and flowering. Cosmos rubenza is an annual with large, wine-red flowers, very easy to grow and intended for flowering in flowerbeds from June to October. Its high-quality flowers, its long vase life and its large size make it an ideal flower for creating summer bouquets. A honey plant, it will attract pollinating insects to your garden throughout the summer. Its seeds are also appreciated by birds. Sowing cosmos rubenza Sow in March-April in a tray. Lightly cover the seeds with potting soil, keep moist and place in the light at 20/25°C. Transplant into a pot and harden off before planting in May/June, spaced 30 cm apart. Direct sowing is possible in mid-May. Allow 80/90 days between sowing and flowering. Care Regularly remove faded flowers. Prune if necessary. Flowering From June to October.
