The relatively unknown Popcorn zucchini, which, as its name suggests, has a yellow skin due to its blisters. This variety originates from Italy and is eaten young, with flesh similar to that of an artichoke and firmer than classic varieties. It has an excellent, delicious, sweet, and firm flavor that is well worth a try. It doesn't run.
How to successfully sow Popcorn zucchini
Sow from late April to June directly in the ground if frost is no longer a risk, or in a sheltered pot. One seed per pot, covered with 2 to 3 cm of substrate. Keep well exposed to light and moist but not soggy.
Harvesting Popcorn Zucchini
Harvest zucchini when they are young and about 25 to 30 cm long.
