Annual plant in the form of a rosette of leaves and aerial stems bearing flowers in small orange-red pompoms. For beds, pots and country bouquets. It is best planted in a sunny location and in well-drained soil. Suitable for chalky or poor soil. Reseeds itself. Sowing Emilia Scarlet Magic Sow from March to May in a seed tray. Barely cover the seeds with potting soil, keep moist and place in the light at 20/25°C. Emergence in 20/30 days. Transplant into a pot and harden off before planting in May/June, spaced 25 cm apart. Direct sowing is possible in mid-May. Maintenance Regularly remove faded flowers. Reseeds itself. Flowering From June to September.
