Spinach is a remineralizing green vegetable that is very rich in vitamins. It is a valuable food in winter, when green vegetables are scarce.
An early variety
This variety is ideal for sowing in August and September. Its leaves are very wide and fleshy. It is a traditional, hardy variety with vigorous growth, offering good resistance to summer heat.
Sowing and cultivation
Sowing: light in March/April or August/September, in sunny (autumn/winter) or shaded (summer) exposure, in fresh soil, in rows spaced 25 to 30 cm apart.
Thin to 10 cm. Regular watering is necessary.
Harvest approximately 2 months after sowing.
