The tender, sweet and very fragrant bulbs of Sweet Florence Fennel are eaten cooked in juice or gratinated.
How to successfully sow fennel
Sowing: sow thinly, in place, in April-May, in loose, rich, deep soil, in a sunny position, in rows 40 cm apart. Thin out to 15 cm on the row.
