The large-flowered Gladiolus 'Green Star' is a unique and vibrant variety that stands out with its stunning soft green flowers , bringing a touch of originality and freshness to the garden. Its bright color makes it an ideal choice for creating striking contrasts in beds and bouquets.

Reaching 110 to 120 cm in height , this majestic gladiolus blooms gradually from the bottom to the top of the stem, ensuring a lasting show throughout the summer. Perfect as a cut flower , it offers a long vase life, adding a modern and refined touch to floral arrangements. Easy to grow, it thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained soil. A unique variety for a bright and sophisticated garden!

Planting gladioli

Plant the bulbs in moist soil 8-10 cm deep and 10-15 cm apart. You can plant as early as mid-autumn for early spring flowering (still protect the vegetation with dead leaves or straw) or in spring for late spring and summer flowering. Water regularly as the plant does not tolerate drought well. Don't hesitate to anticipate possible insect attacks (thrips, etc.) with a preventative treatment, especially as summer approaches.
