PSIDIUM cattleyanum with yellow fruits
Shrub with evergreen foliage. The leaves are thick, dark green and shiny. The flowers are white with numerous stamens. Pulpy oval berries, with a persistent yellow calyx, with tangy and fragrant flesh. In Angers in a frost-free greenhouse, the fruits ripen towards the end of October. A variety for experienced gardeners, the shrub freezes at -5°C, it must spend the winter under cover in mainland France (except Corsica).
