Shrub with evergreen foliage. The leaves are thick, dark green and shiny. The flowers are white with numerous stamens. Pulpy oval berries, with a persistent yellow calyx, with tangy and fragrant flesh. In Angers in a frost-free greenhouse, the fruits ripen towards the end of October.
