The Fireball everlasting flower is a very floriferous annual plant that is often used to create magnificent bouquets of dried flowers. To harvest the flowers and make dried bouquets, we recommend harvesting the flowers before they are fully open. Hang the flowers upside down in a ventilated, dark place. Successfully sowing the Fireball everlasting flower Sow in March/April indoors or in place but under cover, transplant into a pot and plant in May after the last frosts. Sow directly in place in April-May. Thin out or plant 40 cm apart. Cultivation The Fireball everlasting flower appreciates a sunny, warm location and fairly well-drained soil. Although it will tolerate drought, it will grow better with regular watering. Flowering Flowering occurs in July/October.
