THE LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION HIVE

Based on the observation that modern hives are thermal sieves leading to excess winter mortality, Marc Guillemain spent 30 years of his life developing an effective insulation system inspired by the natural habitat of bees: the hollow tree trunk. He gradually developed a technique that has become famous in the beekeeping world: the PIHP (High Performance Insulated Partition), usable in modern production hives, which combines reflective and thermal insulation to stop the conduction of materials. Beyond the technical innovation that he has continued to improve, he has also specified the instructions for use.
