Red cutting lettuce is finely curled and wavy, very attractive and tasty. It can be harvested young as needed, or whole. Ideal for all-season use and for small gardens.
Sowing Red Cutting Lettuce
Sowing: from February-March under cover, from April to August in open fields.
Sow lightly in a nursery or under cover, then transplant when the plants have a few leaves, in a sunny location in fertile, humus-rich and fresh soil, 20 cm in all directions.
Harvesting Red Cutting Lettuce
Harvest in 6 to 8 weeks, from April to October.
