Diavoletta Batavia Iceberg lettuce is a medium-sized variety with a firm, crisp head. Its green center is perfectly accentuated by its dark red outer leaves. Its mild, sweet flavor makes it a delicious choice for salads. This variety also withstands heat and bolting well.
Successful sowing of Batavia Iceberg Diavoletta lettuce
Sowing: Sow thinly from February/March under cover and from April to June in open fields. Transplant when the plants have a few leaves, in a sunny location, in fertile, humus-rich, fresh soil, spaced 20 cm apart in all directions. Water well when planting.
Harvest: approximately 2 months after sowing.
