Celtuce lettuce is grown for its crisp, lanceolate leaves. It is usually eaten cooked, but can also be eaten raw in salads.
This variety is productive, resistant to cold and heat, and suitable for spring and fall cultivation. Asparagus lettuce is grown for its fleshy, crisp stem, and the stem is eaten cooked. Its leaves are not generally eaten due to its advanced growth.
How to successfully sow Celtuce luyeyoumai lettuce
In a pot from April to May or from late July to late August, and plant when the seedlings have 4 to 6 true leaves, spaced 25 x 25 cm apart. Pull up the plants when they reach about 35 to 40 cm.
Harvest one and a half months after sowing.
Planting distance: 10 x 25 cm.
Exposure: partial shade.
Suitable temperature: 18 - 25°C.
Regular watering.
