How to successfully sow headed lettuce

Sow throughout the season, from early spring to autumn. In case of extreme heat, protect your plants and lettuce heads with shade cloth.

Spring Head Lettuces

Sowing: Light planting in February or March in a nursery or under cover. Transplant when the plants have a few leaves, in a sunny position in fertile, humus-rich, fresh soil, 20 cm apart in all directions. Harvest approximately 2 months after sowing.
