In 1833, in the Southern Alps, Fortuné Chabert is an itinerant teacher. From village to village, he happily teaches reading, writing and arithmetic to children. This teaching nomadism is called "the university of goats". Fortuné will have to give up his priesthood, and will find himself, years later, among the Hopis of Arizona, in the United States. In 2018, Sanjar travels the Afghan mountains with his board on his back. He also practices the university of goats.
