POP CORN CINEMA AB
Zea mays
Early and fairly short variety (80 cm high), suitable for vegetable gardens. The very dry yellow grains, rich in starch and with a thin shell, burst well in the heat. Very tasty. Suitable for the north of France .
Sowing Corn
Sow in May, in a sunny, sheltered location, 3 to 4 seeds per hole 40 cm apart, in rows 70 cm apart. Leave only the best-looking plant, hill up the plants when they reach 15 to 20 cm in height. Watering.
Tip: combine corn and beans!
Many gardeners are smart about growing their beans on corn plants. Corn grows tall, straight, and is firmly anchored in the ground. Pole beans, as well as gherkins and pickling cucumbers, will find in it a faithful ally for growing serenely towards the tops. Sorghum , which requires less water, can also take on this role of "living stake".
