MIXTURE OF POLE BEANS IN GREEN, YELLOW, PURPLE COLORS AB (NECKARGOLD, BLAUHILDE, NECKARKONIGIN) AB
Phaseolus vulgaris
A mix of three hardy mangetout pole beans, whose round, colorful pods will brighten up your vegetable garden and your plate.
BLAUHILDE POLE BEAN: Productive and early pole variety. Tasty, fleshy pods about 25 cm long, blue-purple in color, containing white beans. Their purple color turns dark green when cooked.
NECKARKONIGIN POLE BEANS: A hardy variety that performs well even in adverse weather conditions. High yield. Long, thin, stringless pods are firm and fleshy. One of the best varieties for fresh consumption or preservation.
NECKARGOLD BEAN: Mid-early and vigorous stringless butter bean variety. Very high and prolonged production. Good disease resistance. Staggered harvest and easy picking. Can be eaten fresh or dried.
Successful sowing of bean mix
Sow from April to May when frost is no longer a risk and the soil has warmed up.
For climbing varieties: sow 6 to 7 seeds in pockets arranged in a staggered row every 50 cm. Space the rows 70 cm apart, with a maximum of 2 to 3 rows per bed. Healthy, loosened, fresh, light, and humus-rich soil. Warm, sunny exposure, hoeing and watering.
Harvesting pole beans
Staggered harvest and easy picking after approximately 2 to 2.5 months.
