Description

The dry arid soil flower mix consists of flowers capable of growing in dry conditions, but this ability does not exclude the need for favorable hydrometric conditions during its planting. This dwarf flower mix is suitable for planting stony, dry and calcareous soils. The dry ground flower mix is composed of 5 annuals and 15 perennials including: yarrow, adonis, annual alyssum, alyssum montanum, alyssum saxatile, cerastium, cynoglossum, julienne de mahon, catmint, corn cockle, nigella, oregano, phacelia campanularia, burnet, soapwort, horminum sage, common sage, sclarea sage, marigold, thyme, garden valerian ... Sowing density: 1 to 4 grams / m² Soil preparation before sowing A good cleaning with a hoe is necessary. You can practice the false sowing technique. You just need to clean your plot once, wait 2 to 3 weeks to give the weed seeds time to germinate. Then you carry out a second cleaning to have a perfectly clean soil before sowing the flower meadow. After removing the last traces of weeds, give the soil a good dig to loosen the surface of the soil to create a well-refined seedbed. It is not necessary to loosen it in depth, but only the first 3 or 4 centimeters. Sowing a flower meadow Sow the seeds broadcast from March to June or from September to November, spreading them well over the entire seedbed. When the seeds are sown, gently dig the seeds into the soil on the surface, like sowing a lawn. Water thoroughly, then during the dry period, it should take a few weeks for them to germinate. Flowering Flowering from summer for spring sowing, from spring in the following years.
