An old variety from Maine-et-Loire . The bulb is slightly flattened and golden yellow , like the straw yellow of Vertus . It is firm and has an average yield and keeps very well , stored dry at room temperature almost until the following spring. It is rich in dry matter and fragrant and is traditionally used in the production of charcuterie .
