Description
The Red Seeded Watermelon is also known as Candied Melon, Green Flesh Melon, Jam Citrus, Gigerine, Barbarine and Méréville.
Productive, fruits 30 to 40 cm in diameter, very sweet and refreshing green flesh. Best for jams.
Sowing : in a peat pot in a seed compost rich in compost or in a warm bed (between 20 and 30°). Transplant in a warm bed 1 m in all directions, under a frame or plastic tunnel. which should be maintained until the end of June then aerate gradually. Warm and sunny exposure. Frequent watering.
