The Amazing Grey poppy is a beautiful variety that produces delicate, grayish-purple flowers. After flowering, the poppy pods can be used to create dried flower bouquets.
Papaver somniferum has analgesic and sedative properties.
This plant is very easy to grow, it does not require any particular maintenance and reseeds itself.
Sow in autumn or spring in well-drained soil in a sunny position. Sow on warmed, well-refined soil, cover very lightly with a few mm of soil. Keep moist. Emergence in about 10 to 14 days. Thin to 20 cm.
