The bowling ball poppy is a magnificent variety used for its large capsules appearing after flowering, ideal for creating very pretty bouquets of dried flowers. The flowers are pink in color. Papaver somniferum has analgesic and sedative properties. This plant is very easy to grow, it does not require any particular maintenance and reseeds itself.
