Description
The California poppy is a beautiful 35 cm tall annual that will form beautiful golden meadows attracting pollinating insects. It will also thrive in borders and flowerbeds. The orange flowers appear from June to October and close in the evening. The dried flowers can be consumed as an infusion; its properties are anxiolytic, spasmolytic, and sedative. Sowing: from March to May in biodegradable pots because they are difficult to transplant. You can also sow your seeds directly in the ground after the frosts in spring and autumn. The California poppy will appreciate poor, drained, dry, and rather alkaline soil. Adapted to the maritime climate. Flowering from June to September.
