The mother of pearl poppy is a pretty variety of poppy with flowers of soft pink or blue-lilac colors with lighter shades, variegated burgundy, pink and purple. Cultivation: Very easy, no particular maintenance, reseeds itself. Successful sowing of mother of pearl poppy Sow in autumn or spring, in well-drained soil, in a sunny location. Sow on warmed and well-refined soil, cover very lightly with a few mm of soil. Keep moist. Emergence in about 10 to 14 days. Thin to 20 cm. Flowering"margin: 0px 0px 12px">Flowering from May to June for autumn sowings and in June/July for spring sowings.
