PHEROMONE AGAINST MEALYBUG
The mealybug (Planoccocus citri) attacks indoor plants in greenhouses or conservatories. The female lays up to 500 eggs that form small white clusters. Once hatched, the young mealybugs will suck the sap of the plant. The leaves become sticky, weaken and eventually fall off. Use: Pheromones are volatile substances secreted by females. They play a role in sexual attraction to males. Each species emits a specific pheromone. This allows each type of harmful insect to be trapped very precisely and very effectively. Pheromones are tools for detecting and controlling populations with a high trapping capacity. These pheromones are used with the small house trap. Action 4 to 6 weeks per capsule Use 1 trap for 1 tree or 10m² of greenhouse. Treatment period from March to October.
