PEAS A RAME GOLDEN SWEET MANGETOUT AB
Pisum sativum
An old variety of climbing peas from India, producing beautiful purple flowers and then large, flat, light yellow pods, easy to find and harvest thanks to their color. Pods are about 8 cm long and 3 cm wide, eaten immature as snow peas or as shelling peas when ripe.
Sowing from March to April in place, one seed every 2 or 3 cm in rows 30 cm apart or in pockets, 6 to 8 seeds per pocket, spaced 30 to 40 cm apart in all directions.
Butter the peas three weeks after emergence.
Harvest when the berries are well formed, the pods should still be green from June to early July.
