Biennial, with lanceolate foliage, bearing large orange-yellow flower heads with a black center, reaching 60 cm in height. Non-fragrant flowering, from August to September. Successfully sowing rudbeckia Marmelade Sow from March to April in a warm place, in trays or pots of fine seed compost at a depth equal to the diameter of the seeds. Keep the compost moist but not soggy until the seeds germinate. Sowing in open ground is possible after the risk of frost has passed after mid-May. Transplant, leaving 50 to 60 cm between each plant. Planting in the garden Rudbeckia will appreciate well-drained, fertile soil and a sunny exposure. Mulch at the base to keep the soil cool in summer. Water regularly. Flowering The flowers appear from June to October.
