Clary sage is a perennial condiment and ornamental plant that produces a lot of honey , with white flowers tinged with purplish blue . It reseeds itself naturally .
Clary sage leaves are used to flavor meats, fish, sauces and vegetables, but are also consumed as herbal tea for their medicinal properties ( digestive disorders , bactericide , antispasmodic , astringent , anti-inflammatory , etc.).
How to successfully sow clary sage
Sowing : Sow in March-April under cover, in a terrine on fine, moist substrate , cover the seeds very lightly and keep at 20°C .
Transplant into pots .

When the plants reach 10 cm , plant in the ground in May and June .
Regular watering . Sowing possible in summer for planting in autumn.
